Mozart's Don Giovanni from the Royal Opera, Covent Garden

Join us on Saturday at 1 pm for a broadcast from the 2021 WFMT Radio Network Opera Series, with Mozart's Don Giovanni, presented by the United Kingdom's Royal Opera. 

The impulsive Don Giovanni (Mariusz Kwiecien) travels through Europe seducing women (Véronique Gens, Malin Bystrom and Elizabeth Watts), accompanied by his servant, Leporello (Alex Esposito). But when he commits murder, Don Giovanni unleashes a dark power beyond his control. He continues to seduce and betray but, haunted by the ghost of the murdered man, he invites him to dinner. The ghost of the Commendatore (Alexander Tsymbalyuk) urges him to repent – but Don Giovanni will not.
